Default Pairing HTM1 D3 with 802 D3s

If anyone has this pairing, is their a noticeable sound quality difference between the HTM1 D3 and its paired 802 D3s given its structural build etc or is it seamless together?

The HTM1 D3 is a matching center channel speaker for the 800 series D3. They should be integrate seemlessly. Not sure what you're trying to ask here.

I was sort of wondering the same thing myself. I've listened to the HTMX D3s and they're a great center speaker, no question about it, but I'm pretty sure that they were designed to "voice" with all of the B&W 800D3s.

Hope this helps you somehow.

I have a pair of 804D2 and am planning to get HTM4 D2 as my center. I dont have space bigger than this under my TV so it's either this or perhaps save up for a McIntosh amp in the future when I get 803D4.

My speakers are 7 ft apart and my living room is not large. I was advised once that is better to save up as I might not enjoy the full effects of having a center.

Is anyone using the same power / amps to run 800/802 D3 and the HTM1 D3?

Seems like this is the best way to go since the HTM1 has a high wattage rating.

Yes with the 500 watt rating that would be preferred.

I actually use more power on my HTM1 D3. Left and right are McIntosh MC452 and center is McIntosh MC601.

THughes..... As we've been searching for a "center amp" for our B&W HTM3S, I'm curious about why you chose a single MC601? What are you driving with your MC452?

By the way, I commend you on your choice...have you ever owned a pair of MC601s?
