Well.....In a about an hour I'm leaving to pick up my new MEN220. I can ask the dealer to show me serial number. I did request that they provide me the lastest version of the MEN220 when ordered.....

Ken.......I am looking forward to your comments on the performance of your new MEN220. According to a very reliable source, there is a new board in the latest MEN220. This would be the third board change in the MEN220. The original board had the balanced output issue that was correct with a board replacement. This new board would be number three.

This is a photo of the original board on my MEN220 before the retrofit that corrected the balanced output issue. I would be happy to see a close up photo of the new board for comparison purposes.

It's here.... Pictures confirming the new serial numbers. Trying to remove the cover...... sucker must be welded into place!!

I'll try later with more aggressive tools!

I understand that these components do the signal manipulation in the digital domain. Do these components employ the same type chips that you find in a D100 for instance or does the ADA process require something different?

Jim.......I would be very interested to see the motherboard in the revise MEN220 with the ADM**** serial number. If you can photograph it, try to frame it similar to the one I posted so we cab stack the photos for a comparison.

Dan I haven't forgotten about your request for photos!! I finally installed the unit... just wanted to hurry up and hear the music! I've completerd a room measurement of 98%.
While it doesn't change overall sound.... "which was a concern for me"...... it does remove presence of speaker cabinets!! I'm sure I'll need break in time had to add new XLR cables.

When I remove the (4) screws on the top. The top lid just won't move!!! I'm trying not to mar the matt finsih!? Did I miss something else??
