Very nice work. Just oil it so it doesn't rust and leave it as is.
Your vise reminds me of my friend who collects anvils. He has something like 400 of them ranging in size from an inch, or so, to a couple weighing in at 400+ pounds.

Wow! I know this is a very old thread, but I'm a new member and sticking my nose in a lot of old threads. I love the cleanup jobs on the lathes and tiny vise! Do you guys like to work wood, metal, or otherwise? I love to work with my hands, and the old metal cleanups are some of my favorites! Please post more pictures!
