Interviewer called me the Monday following my Friday interview and stated he tested positive for COVID. He was fully vaccinated, as was I. I went to get tested when he called plus also got my booster. Symptoms appeared with me on Monday afternoon. I immediately quarantined myself to the second floor. Just me and my wife. My PCR test came back positive on Wednesday but was feeling better by then. I had very mild symptoms with zero fever. My wife started having symptoms the following Friday evening, tested Saturday with no results yet (Tues.). Her symptoms are moderate with fever. It hit her hard and by surprise. We are both breakthrough cases infected by a breakthrough case. As of Tuesday I am back to 95% but wife is very sick and in bed. We are keeping apart even though I now have antibodies. I go for second test tomorrow. Guys, this delta variant is a mean SOB - don’t let your guard down, be diligent and proactive with masking and hygiene. You don’t want to be a breakthrough case.
