I've owned the original Thorens lift. It does have an adjuster for the lifting and trigger force. Works very well with my TD-316.

There is also a YouTube video of it out there.
Jeez, I forgot I had one of these. I went rummaging through my junk drawer and finally found it. I'm going to clean it up and use it on my next turntable.

Here's a new automatic lifter out of Norway that looks like an elegant alternative to the Audio Technica Safety Raiser. I'm ordering one as soon as it's available. I don't know if posting the link is against forum rules so you can Google "littlefwend" to get more info.

The Little Fwend tonearm lifter appears to operate on the same principle as the out of production Audio Technica and Signet SK501 model with a viscous damped lifter. I like it.

I sold my Signet tonearm lifter.

I bought I-Qual Armmate IQ1000A. 80$ equivalent.
Look similar to AT6006.
Let's Google it.

Toga.......I see where the I-Qual Armmate IQ1000A is being sold in Japan for $85.00 US. Other than the color, it is a dead ringer for the Audio Technica and Signet models.

Will any of these work with an innovation compact/universal?

Thanks
