Rip of the Analogue Productions-remastered SACD. What Reiner does with Maurice Ravel's Rapsodie Espagnole is downright delicious.

What can be said about the German label Tacet? It is always a real treat to listen to.

Tube-Only recordings by TACET
We have always been especially pleased to
receive so much feedback about our TubeOnly productions.

This motivates us even
more to keep working with this technology
and rescue it from oblivion. People have told
us that the music sounds warmer, without
losing any of its TACET brilliance.

The timbres glow more. We have also heard that people
have the impression of a more homogeneous
sound, whatever that is meant to be. So let
everyone listen to their own hearts and to the
Tube-Only recordings and feel something
special!

Even the sheer joy of this slightly
nostalgic outstanding technology can be
reason enough to like these productions. Yet
what would it all be without the wonderful
work of the artists.

You can fi nd more information about the
technology used on TACET 74 and TACET
117.
Andreas Spreer, Diplom-Tonmeister
Owner of TACET
P. S.: TACET produces: CDs, SACDs, LPs,
DVD-Audios; SACDs and DVD-Audios also in
TACET Real Surround Sound or Moving Real
Surround Sound.

Hi Jim, I am streaming it now.
I have several Living Stereo SACDs but hadn't heard this one yet.
Thank you for the recommendation!

This was the album I played earlier today in the practice:

W.A. Mozart - 6 'Haydn' Quartets
Kuijken Quartet
via Qobuz

Each day some instrumental works by the Kuijkens.
Their catalogue is vast.
