A collection of works by Telemann, Kindermann, Vojta, Schmelzer, and good old Anonymous played beautifully on instruments with scordatura tunings. Wonderful music, playing and recording with gorgeous harmonics and tone.

Streaming it now.
Wonderful indeed.

A bit of Schubert:
String Quintet C Major D956
Auryn Quartet w/ Christian Poltera - Violoncello
Great back ground music as I clean up the back bar for guests not arriving due to the health situation!
Tacet Records Tube only / Transistorfrei KL 110
Regards,
Jim

These works are always enchanting if well played.

Joseph Silverstein playing Bartók’s Sonata for Solo Violin [Columbia]

Not listening to it, yet. Just purchased it.

I never tire of hearing these concertos.
Especially when they are being played with such vigour and attention to historical detail.

Bach - Brandenburgische Konzerte Nr. 1-4
I Barocchisti, Diego Fasolis
via Qobuz

Wanted to compare with the set above.
This is played with more energy, and faster.
The ensemble is bigger.
I think I prefer the more laid back and more transparent version of La Petite Bande, but I'm sure I'm prejudiiced.
