I can only imagine how dynamic that system sounds when you open it.

Charles, congratulations and thanks for sharing. The term 'reference level' is often hyperbolic, but in your case appropriate. Enjoy in good health.

Thanks to all. I am glad folks have enjoyed seeing and hearing about the prowess of a MC3500. I found the Jeff Beck BR Live at Ronnie Scott's on Amazon but the description says incompatible with most BR players. The 2-set DVD is pricey (77$) but I'm going to order it.
I really enjoy live performances. It requires power in the form of a lot of watts to achieve life performance sound levels. I need to mention that you need a room suitable for live performance sound levels. I have worked very hard to achieve such a room passively by trial and error. One would think that the A-frame ceiling would be incompatible but this is not the case. The rear firing tweeter is turned down 4 dB but the sparkle it adds is noticeable and quite enjoyable without causing any damage to the treble. The room is a full 40 feet long and I leave the rear door open to eliminate all standing waves. Makes for a very smooth even bass response. Best Charles |

Charles, this is the BluRay version I have. My brother just got a copy from Amazon about 2 months ago as well. It plays perfectly on my UDP203 and my lowly Samsung bedroom BR player.

Eye Candy bonus. The bass player's a knock-out!
