Denon DL 109 D
Anybody heard of this? I bought one, brand new, not paying attention to the ad. It is a moving magnet model. Any thoughts would be appreciated. I thought I was buying a virgin 103-D.

Soundsmith does an excellent job. You have a selection of stylus & cantilever options to choose from. Am most pleased with what Peter did on both my Kontrapunkt-b and Kleos.

The problem with re-tipping a Denon DL160 is the cost, which would most likely be more than the original cost of the cartridge. It was a great value at its ~$180 price, but you could probably spend almost twice that to have it re-tipped. Not sure that's justified.
