After a week of 24/7 running I have to say I am very pleased with the INT-25. From an industrial design point-of-view, it is very minimalist, which I prefer. Runs warm, but not hot, so has plenty of ventilation. As for SQ, it has added a significant dose of bass control & depth from my speakers (better damping?). Enough so that for my listening I am no longer considering a sub. In addition, the depth of the sound-field and clarity of the presentation are both improved and recordings that I consider somewhat congested have gained better detail and specificity of both instruments and vocals. Think I'm good amp-wise for some time.

Terrific review Glenn. Amazing how a good amp can bring a good dose of realism to your listening experience. I knew your Canton's had the bass ability in them. Glad the INT-25 unlocked it for you.

Now giving thought to new speakers. Biggest problem these days, with a lack of brick & mortar shops, is being able to audition speakers. Good thing I'm in no particular hurry.

Devore 0/93, Klipsch Forte IV or CW IV (Crites Model B?) or Canton Ref 8K/7K. But, I've always been intrigued by full-range drivers and open-baffle speakers, so am investigating Charney's Maestro-X, which I hope to audition in Sept or Oct as Brian Charney is only 100mi north of me. Also Omega's Super Alnico Monitor and Decware's ZF15M. As always, finding a way to audition before purchase is a problem with the boutique speakers like Omega & Decware.

Hey Glenn, I heard the Spatial Audio X4 at Pacific Audio Fest a couple of weeks ago. They're not single driver but are open baffle and sounded very good with LTA electronics. They have them available for audition at LTA in Takoma Park, MD - maybe drivable for you?

What about Zu Audio. Very high efficiency speakers and they have a generous return policy. Audition in your home. Return if you don't like them.
