conrad johnson prem 8A's. 1992 - 1999


The monoblock that started and ended the ultimate power tube amp.With the cj teflon cap upgrade, even better, quieter and more transparent.
In my system has sounded better than Mark Levinson 33H, VTL MB750's, McIntosh MC501's, 2x MC2102's, Pass X350, Mark Levinson 532H, Gryphon Colliseum to name just some

Thanks, I am really happy with this system, I shall try to to report more details when the GAT will be completely broke in but I am not very skilled to transcribe in English. I think that the sound signature of our two installations must be very close especially if to the source you use your LP12 and your dynavector XV1-s, however you possess Strad and not me..
