Hopefully, Meridian was just waiting on Apple to get the app updates out first and will soon turn loose the Sooloos 2.2 update.

I am not getting too excited about this update. Tidal may be important but not until they are delivering MQA content. Even then I will have to get my 808 updated to v6 to reap the benefits of MQA.

I am waiting for information and pricing on updates and availability of content. I am also waiting for the updated Sooloos rewrite discussed on Unplugged site.

I just went it and was shown a update on Sooloos was available. Started the update. The version ended in a 9

It is now complete. I have a message noting I can enjoy Tidal free for 3 moths.

Yes, I got the Sooloos app update (works on iPhone and iPad). I use it on my iPhone, but I use the Core Control app on my iPad. Meridian's announcement on its website about Sooloos 2.2 says an update for Core Control for improved compatibility with iOS 8 is being released today as well.

I just got the Core Control iPad app update, so maybe Meridian had indeed been waiting on Apple before starting the Sooloos update roll-out.

I am not sure how I am getting the 3 months free even though that is what is says in my message center.

I need to add my Tidal account information but I need the code from Meridian. I have not been able to log into Meridian's site as it is not taking my password and I keep asking them to send me a updated password and they tell me to watch my in my email but it hasn't come in about 3 hours.

It's on $20 a month maybe I should just sigh up.

I thought I had already registered a Meridian component several years ago using my regular email address, but it wasn't recognized as an address that had been registered when I tried to log on this morning. So, I just used another email address to sign up as a new user and then registered one of my MS200's. About ten minutes later, I got an email with the Voucher code for the 3 months of Tidal.

I just went to the Tidal site and grabbed their 1 week free trial. It sounds very good. A bit better than Rhapsody I think.
