Paul.......My PMC EB1i's use the same woofer in a longer transmission line tunnel. If memory serves me right, from brand new right out of the boxes it took them about 150 to 200 hours to arrive at their permanent voice. I have had my EB1i's since July 2008 and still love them as much today as when they were brand new.

Dan...Thanks again for your help. So far I'm extremely happy with the sound except the woofer. It's hard to explain however doesn't sound right. bit boomy and it's not tight as my VA's Music speakers. Did you have a same experience before ? If you can remember

Nope, I just paired them with MC275's , C2300 & MCD 500. The mid is world class. However I'm experiencing the little hard time on low end.

Well.,,, I had similar problem last time with SF Elipsa as well so hoping for the break in issue.

Paul,

The transmission line bass is not easy to manage. The EB1i were the most difficult speakers to set up in my room. Break in is also a concern of course but you will need to work A LOT on placement imho.
An other point :
Which tap are you using on the MC275's ? In mono, the 2 /4 / 8 ohms tap become 4 / 8 / 16 ohms.
My EB1i bass was the best with the 2301's on 8 ohms. Amazingly.

I'm using the 4 ohms in mono. I will try the 8 ohms tonight and hoping to get a better result. Thanks
