Sure happy I got my PMC EB1i's when I did. They are tremendous speakers that continue to thrill me every day. The lower price and smaller footprint of the PB1i doesn't mean squat to me.
I love my EB1i's.

+1 !
The EB1i are tremendous speakers. They do everything well and they have zero weakness / shortcoming.

Each time that I listen to an other speaker that I find impressive and think about buying them, the terrific question is always the same : "what do you have to blame the EB1i for ? " and the answer is always the same : "NOTHING ! ".
Oh yes, I have something against them.
They are the best ally of my wife to prevent me from buying something else. !
I loved the REGA RS10. I'm quite sure that I will buy them. But the EB1i will stay and the REGA will be either next to them or in an other room....

Thanks Ian. I predict the EB1 to be a well sought after "cult" speaker. Before I bought my IB2s, I tried just about every angle to see if I could swap out the IB2 mid if I bought the EB1. I'm sure there's a PMC engineer in the uk somewhere who is sitting in his living room, with a sly smile on his face, listening to a pair of these super speakers

I just purchased the EB1i's from Audioclassics this weekend. I think they still have more. I upgraded to them from my B&W 803d's. I think they were a significant improvement for me. I also demo'd the PB1i's. After listening to the PB1i's I had no interest in them, the EB1i's were the way to go.
