Except whoever wrote this didn't HEAR any of this stuff hooked up, it's just a "fantasy" thing. And the projector is a 10K projector, not a 4K.

However, having heard this system two weeks ago at Meridian when I spent the day with Bob Stuart, I can vouch that it does indeed sound excellent and as great as the big Meridian Active speakers are, that projector really takes the cake.

As someone who's spent their life in front of a monitor adjusting color on the screen for quite a few clients over the years (Ducati, Porsche, Chevrolet, to name a few) that Meridian projector is beyond anything I've ever seen.

It's like having a mini IMAX theater in your home.

Is that the $185,000.00 projector? At that price it better be nothing short of "spectacular".

Howie:

I've got a couple appointments booked for time with one, as I would never expect Meridian to send me one...

PHC1, trust me, the Meridian projector, while very expensive, absolutely eclipses everything else available. In six years of writing about hifi I've never used the word "BEST", but this is the best there is. It's like having an IMAX theater in your home.

I've never seen this kind of color, contrast, and evenness of illumination. The picture looks like you can just walk into the scene.

Phenominal!!

I will spend just about anything on 2- channel audio or surround system, but $10k or $185k for a projector? Let's see it costs my wife and I from $12 to $16 to go to the theater, that is over 625 movies, or a movie a week for the next 12 years. For a $185k I could rent out the theater each week for one heck of a long time. And then, I get a picture that "might" be as good as good as what I see in the theater but one hell of a lot smaller. Talk about diminishing returns.
