Is there any allowable level of sound (music) that
would be considered “not concerning” coming thru the speakers
when both the outputs are off on the amp, Lumin connected via
balanced interconnects (this is the only input connected to the amp) AND
the volume level at 100%?

Has anyone tried this?

For me, the answer would be zero amount of sound. I have heard other brands of gear that will pass a minute signal; and it is considered to be normal.

Zero is the best answer, but it depends on the intent of the output switches on the front panel - are they completely turning off the amplifier circuit? (do you hear relays clicking??)

I’m uncertain as to what the output switches are designed to do. I don’t hear any relays clicking.

They turn on/off the RCA outputs for second room or subwoofer.

Well an interesting discovery was made earlier last evening. While
going thru the settings on my smart tv, approximately 30’ from Mac amp, I noticed that the Bluetooth setting was turned on. Not sure why, so I switched it off, went over to my chair to do some listening and presto the speaker popping was entirely gone. I mean the speakers are dead silent now while powering on and off. WTH? At the same time I did also connect another coax cable to the same jack as to where my router is connected to that TV, so I can’t really say for certain which one solved it. I’ll track back on each of those at some point to expose the true culprit. I’ll be sure to let you all know my findings. I’m just happy to report that the popping is gone.

Also, the leakage issue with the outputs off now has diminished quite a bit but is still there. One by one I’m exposing these funky audio ghosts.

Spoke with CS at Mac he still thinks a visit to a certified dealer with amp for a diagnosis is a good idea. Another thing that’s driving that is because I have one track that when I play it and rotate the volume knob I can here a bit of cracking in each channel. Only seems to be that track though.

Onward circuit Soldiers, and a big thanks for all the info and listening to me gripe.
Could still be dealing with lemon amp though.
