Default Music Cataloging (Movies too)

I have mentioned in other threads that I have been using Music Collector from CollectorZ.com for many years now. I started with the PC version and later moved to the Mac version. For those of you who are interested they also have versions for movies, books, etc.

They have released their movie version for the Apple App Store. You can see from the attached note the Music Collector version for the iPhone and iPod Touch are almost ready to go.
NOTE: I have no affiliation with this product other than a very happy user.
Hi James,

Alwin here, bringing you the first sneak preview screenshots of our iPhone
companion app for Music Collector: Clz Music.

Check them out here:
Collectorz.com iPhone & iPod Touch apps

As you can see, the Clz Music app is almost finished. We are planning to
submit it to Apple next week, probably on Wednesday.
If all goes well, it will probably be available in the AppStore early June.

As soon as Clz Music has been submitted, we will start working on the other
apps (Clz Books, Clz Comics and Clz Games).
We are still hoping to submit them all to Apple before the end of June.

* Index, Location and Storage fields *

After the release of Clz Movies, we have received multiple requests for the
addition of the Index, Location and Storage fields. Many users want these
fields to be available so that they can check the location of their items
while on the couch, without having to switch on their computer.

Great idea, so we will add these fields in Clz Movies 1.1.
Clz Music and the other apps will have these fields in their 1.0 versions.

* Collectorz.com customer Novel Posey about Clz Movies *

"I just purchased Movie Collector and then immediately purchased CLZ Movies
for my iTouch. You did GREAT!!!!
What a great program Movie Collector is (I have had Music Collector for several
years & love it) and what a great app CLZ Movies is.
Thanks for your efforts in creating both.
It's great to be able to have access to what movies I have anywhere I go and
I am especially looking forward to the iTouch/iPhone app for Music Collector.
Thanks!!!"

Talk to you later,

The interface looks nice, but why not just use iTunes? It is not as detail but it can play the music too and it supports other languages.

I find that Music Collector has far fewer limitations than iTunes and is easily customizable. I use iTunes only for music I want to use on my iPhone or one of my iPods. I catalog all the music both my wife and I own, not just what we listen to which would be on the MS-300 or in itunes.
