How long have you had your speakers?

My Infinity RSIIIs lasted from 1983 to 2008 in the main system and are now upstairs. Still enjoy them tremendously.

I have had my PMC's since late 2008.

In the past I have held onto speakers for as long as 12 years.

The longest I have owned a pair of speakers was from 1977 to 2007. Dahlquist DQ-10's. When I sold them I sent the original receipt to the guy too.

These speakers powered by a GAS Ampzilla amp and a Nakamichi pre-amp were my real entry point into Hi-Fi. Sure I owned gear before that, but I never owned Gear before those.

I'm the original owner except for 1 pair of Forte II's which were purchased as new in 2007. 1984 Cornwalls are on loan to my brother (seems permanent), here's the list:

The longest I owned a pair of speakers was 13 years, from 1995 to 2008. They were the Definitive Technology BP2000. I enjoyed them. Bought them new at Cooper for Stereo in the Tampa, Florida area.

Ah yes, Cooper for Stereo. That's where I bought my McIntosh MR78, MX117, MC300, and C40, along with a host of other goodies, from my old friend Steve. It was a sad day when he went out of business.

Pete.......Cooper for Stereo also had one of the most complete displays of McIntosh speakers that I have ever seen at any dealer. Steve was easy to deal with, and generally left you alone to listen and decide for yourself. I brought my own music, and listened to the BP2000's for almost three hours before deciding to make the purchase. I liked that store.

I am pretty sure my Martin Logan pair was the longest stretch of about 3 years.

Thiel 2.4 since 2006. My first and only pair of high end speakers. Love them however they will be replaced in the next year or two.

Dan, Yes I too listened to quite a variety of McIntosh speakers there. And yes, they generally would leave alone in a room to play around with and listen to the gear by yourself. It was a pleasure doing business there with Steve, Don and the rest of his staff. I still keep in touch with Steve off and on.
