From your one pic, it appears that you are using a rubber mat under the record.

There's been some recent discussion over on audiogon, that it seems the newest classic platters do not any longer possess a central depression at the center of the Platter anymore?

Is this how yours is, with no depression? According to reports, this version must be used with the rubber mat. Does the spindle still then have threading?

Mark, my platter has the depression for the record label and has a threaded spindle. The new Classic 3 has a new mat. I will be testing if I like it better with the new mat or no mat in the future, sounds good now.
