Think HP will be seeing one too.... In fact, you can be pretty sure Harry will hear it first. You don't name the company for nothing.

Think back then, 'VPI' was debating whether or not even to produce the table. Probably will see the new table at the NY Show.

Very nice TT Ivan. I like the fact it is a 12" arm.

Does this turn table come in more than one configuration? I think I saw something about two types of bearings and a different arm. Can you specify the setup when you order or are these after purchase options?

I just looked on their site and couldn't find much, so I suggest you call VPI and speak with Harry. You'll find him very easy to talk to.

One arm, or two; 12" length. Idler drive which I don't happen to like can be added later.

The rim drive is quite a bit better than the belt drive Closest one can get to the solidity of direct drive without the direct drive. Only down side is that you have to replace the belts regularly--but then again need to do with a belt drive.

I think that it's hard to go back to a belt drive table after hearing a rim/idler drive system. You really hear the softening/mushiness/inprecision that comes with a belt drive.
