The combination of the Anthem AVM 90's DACs and 5 REL subs doing there thing is mind blowing in terms of clarity, real bass without boom and immersivness. Really digging Apple & Tidal Spatial mixes...

For 7-8 years, I used an SSP-800 and a ÇA-5100 for movies and stereo. I had limited space and it worked out. Call me fool, but the ÇA-5100, CA-5300 are some of the best 5-channels amp ever made. Then I went down the path of splitting stereo and movies gear again, leading to lot more space, power, 600 pounds of gear and lots of space. I run an AVM-70, still on the ÇA-5100, and a much nicer stereo outfit. Stereo side is running a MC312 and it’s nicer than then the ÇA-5100 by quite a bit.
Point is. there is NOTHING in the market today like the SSP-800 and the Classė 5 channel amplifiers. I guess there’s no market for it.

I've been checking the temperature of the AV8805 and it gets really hot. Much warmer
for my likes and with the summer starting to peak, I think the best course of action
is getting a AC Infinity Cooling system and place it right on top of it. It should cool it
enough and hopefully the fans are not too noisy. I'll report back.

I use a AC Infinity on my SR7012. At first the fan noise drove me crazy because when using “auto on” it came on full blast and made too much noise. Then I figured out how to make it come on incrementally based on temperate. Works much quieter now.

Have a 46" Panny plasma in my audio/ video room. Speakers are Usher X-719 for the Front left and right. Usher X-616 for the center channel and Usher X-520 for the surrounds. Have a Rel T2 handles the bass.
