Default Tidal Contriva G2's in the House!!

I have made many trips over the past year, traveling to AA forum members homes to listen to their systems, in search of my next big speaker purchase, thanks to all who let me hear your fantastic systems.

I finally decided on a used pair of Tidal Contriva G2 speakers. I'm not sure I can put into words how excited I am for these to finally be in my listening room!! I heard a lot of hype surrounding the Tidal speakers, but now after having them in my home for just a few days I am of the belief that its all truth, not hype.

These are what Tidal calls "Pyramid Mahogany" veneer coated in a thick high gloss lacquer finish. If you're not up on Tidal, they use Accuton drives, 2 x 9" woofers, rear ported x 2, 1 x 7" midrange and 1 x 30mm diamond inverted dome tweeter.

Now a lot of placement and room acoustic tweaking to make them sing in my room.

Steve...

You are officially the man. The veneer on Tidals are second to none. Beautiful. You may be the only AA member that owns a pair?

Steve - beautiful speakers - the finish looks a mile deep. Enjoy tweaking them up for your room.
