Get Vol. 2. I have the double LP and it is great. He does an awesome version of "Teo" (from Someday My Prince Will Come), but it's titled "Neo" on this record.

Do you recommend to get the double LP or to look for volume 2?

The Impex 180 gr 2 LP remaster is well worth having, and it is a limited edition (2000 copies). It's what I have and sounds great.

Listening to . . . The Oscar Peterson Trio - Night Train - A 1962 Verve LP

My favorite jazz is gentle and mellow, and few people better typify those genres than Oscar Peterson. I started collecting his records in about 1963 and I suppose I have most of those he recorded. He is one fantastic pianist. This album was one of his most popular and has been re-issued in a variety of formats. Try it - You'll love it!

Can't do much better than a line-up that includes

Oscar Peterson: piano
Ray Brown: bass
Ed Thigpen: drums
