Erroll Garner - Soliloquy
via Qobuz

This '57 album shows how good Garner was, but the sonics are not good.

A fine 2-record set of live performances. Very nice sound and great music-making. It’s a shame we’ve lost both Miller and Hargrove.

Tony, just listening to the singles on the streaming platforms, indeed great sound/music, can't wait for the full album release!

Buddy Tate Quartet & Quintet feat. Tete Montoliu - At La Fontaine, Copenhagen "TATE A TETE"
via Qobuz

Another album from the "Stereo" old jazz gems rubric.
Nice live set, but the sound is dodgy.

Dave Liebman
Richie Beirach
- Empathy
Qobuz 24/44.1

As usual, intelligent sax playing from Liebman, excellently accompanied by Beirach on the piano.

Keith Jarrett, Gary Peacock, Jack DeJohnette - Bye Bye Blackbird
ECM (1991), 16/44 files

An old favorite - a tribute to Miles recorded a couple of weeks after he passed away. All three had played with Miles, although Peacock only for a couple of months.
