Default Trails, Travels & Travails

After 7 months of research, asking questions, implementing answers, ordering (and waiting for) parts and performing numerous installations; the Wrangler JL Willys was finally ready for some real trail exploration.

Our first trip was Box Canyon near Florence Arizona. We didn't have to go far nor did we pick a very challenging trail. We wanted to shakedown the newly modified JL without being a long way from home. We traveled a total of approx. 109 miles and it took us about 4 hours there and back again.

We had a great time. I am very pleased with the modifications and the JL's performance on hard pack, gravel, rock and in deep sand. My Better Half was the navigator and, using the satellite link, found the trail and identified our vehicle in real time on the route.

We had a great time and look forward to our next outing!

EDIT: I guess linking the URL from Google Photos won't work here. I've attached the pictures.

Your Jeep is too well camouflaged.
Can't see anything either.

Sorry about that. I guess linking a Google Photo URL won't work here.

The pictures have been attached.

Nice ride.
If you get to Silverton, CO there are some great "Jeep roads" up into the mountains. You can pick up a map of the abandoned mines in the region from several stores in town. We spent a wonderful day 'Jeeping' to several of them a few years ago.
