He did die at 55 from Lung Cancer in 1994 I believe, but he could play very emotional guitar.

Default What jazz music are you listening to?
Skúli Sverrisson & Bill Frisell – Strata
Newvelle (2021), via Qobuz

Interesting compositions from Sverrisson and classic Frisell playing. This isn’t the most adventurous music, but it’s pleasant and dreamy with very nice, warm sound. The album is a relatively short 37 minutes, but that’s probably a good thing. I think the typical hour+ would risk boredom.
