Vivid Jumper Connection
How do you connect the jumper cables on your Vivid speakers?
I know there are several opinions on the matter. Vivid recommend connecting the speaker cables to the HF speaker terminals. Nordost on the other hand, recommend connecting their jumpers to the LF end or a diagonal connection. I have followed the Vivid instructions, but I’m planning to experiment with other configurations. Any experience to share, Vivid owners? BR, Sven

Hi Sven,
When I bought my Giyas, Laurence recommended using the diagonal wiring method. The reason being that it puts one jumper into each circuit, rather than two into one circuit and none into the other one. This is how my Giyas are wired.

Ivan, on all of your speakers you connect both positive terminals with one jumper, then both negative with another jumper? You then connect the speaker cable normally?

Vivid B1s here. I use the Nordost diagonal method with positive to the LF. I use Nordost Norse jumpers with Shotgun Valhalla speaker cable. Best sounding configuration to my ears.
