I started out with the original Finite Elemente Ceraball's under all my two channel gear.
I am slowly upgrading to the newer Finite Elemente Universal Ceraball islators. They are still available in the four pack... Buy three sets and get three isolators for another piece of gear. You save a few dollars... |

RodWelst... Do you use 3 or 4 under each gear?

I am sorry I confused you... I use three.
And you can experiment as to where it sounds better. I usually start with two in the back at the furthest outer edge and one in the front midway across. |

Thanks for the tip. My dealer says to use 3 on lighter gears (ie. disc player, pre-amp) and 4 on heavier gears (ie. power-amps). Does that make sense?

I use three Universal Ceraball isolators under my two 45lbs Monoblocks. Two in the back under the two transformers and one in front. My Sony SCD-1 weights in at 58 lbs and sits on 5 feet. The 5th is in the center. I would use 4 Finite Elemente Cerapuc and possibly even experiment with a 5th. If you have children or pets, caution is always prudent... |
