I like keeping my garage clean and uncluttered (never know when I have to sleep out there - a big dog house). It may seem obsessive, but I have been know to 'Swifter' (wet) when cars track in dirt.

I am late to this but for others interested, I found used industrial kitchen cabinets in heavy gauge SS works nicely. The smaller cabinet is vented so I keep all my pesticides and chemicals the larger cabinet holds all my spray and detailing products and the shelving is great for stuff you want easy access to. then I have shelving for all my shop manuals. Best part about SS is if it gets dirty or scratched just use a fine sanding sponge and it cleans right up. Although it will dent if your not careful.

Gladiator garage storage systems and cabinets work well. The storage cabinets are pre-assembled and well made. Sears periodically runs a sale on the Gladiator products.

Or perhaps build one. A Vans RV light aircraft kit would be ideal in that space. Oh, I shall just carry on dreaming.
