I forgot to mention I found another use for them. I used one set of 4 under my Bryston SP2. I discovered (the hard way) a while back it needs more air space underneath it. For a long time it was rack mounted with air space above and below. When I put it in a cabinet with plenty of space above it, it got too hot due to the amount of heat on the lower panel. It fried the power supply and Bryston had to rebuild it (under warranty of course). When I got it back, I put it on top of the cabinet and it still got too hot, so I put some other feet underneath it and it solved the problem.

I decided it wasn't worth messing with returning one set of SVS feet so I have a spare set in case I need them for something else.

I installed the SVSound Soundpath Subwoofer isolation system on my Paradigm Seismic 110 and have been satisfied with the results. No more floor shaking to muddy up the SQ.

I've been considering these for my Salons. The things holding me back are that the Salon tweeters are already above my seated ear height. I also wonder how well the tall and very heavy Salons will "settle" on my deep pile carpeting. Probably still worth a shot since I have some "floor" in the bass as well.

I would use the spikes that come with the Salons, they are more substantial than the ones that come with the F208's.

I waited a while before I spiked mine and wish I had done it immediately, it made a huge difference in the whole speaker, not just the bass.

It absolutely is. Soon as I heard them with the spikes installed, I regretted every moment of listening without them. All that time, it could have been so much better!
