Nice setup. My travel kit is an Astell & Kern AK100 II and Sennheiser Momentums or, for noise-cancelling, Senn PXC450s. The AK100 II is nice because it plays both PCM and DSD seamlessly, and has a long-lasting battery. Size-wise, it is about a long as an iPhone 5, thinner in width but thicker. Easily fits in a shirt pocket. Literally built like a tank from machined from billet aluminum. Most importantly, it sounds fantastic.
(photos by yours truly) Would love to hear what you think of the Sennheiser Urbanites.

I lol'd... Steerage sucks for sure. Even on puddle jumpers my senns are out with my laptop and meridian explorer. Teeny tiny and freggin' amazing.
I always do my best to route myself with a plane that at least has in seat power. Almost as important as pdbs.

Very nice read Héctor.
I need to travel light, so no huge headphones for travel (my Focal Spirits do the trick) and no headphone amp either. I'm currently using a small, affordable and "breakable" Fiio X1 for all of my trips and could not be happier. Incredible sound quality for an US$ 100 piece of kit.
