Getting GIK to assess my room and make recommendations for treatment is one of the very best things I have ever done for my listening enjoyment. It started out simple enough, just move my listening position and speakers by about a foot each, which was surprising to say the least. But now with the room 80% treated, a little more to do on the back wall, the sound is absolutely the best I have ever heard anywhere!!! I'm completely ecstatic with how it's sounding!! The bass is now very deep and with much greater definition and the details that can be heard throughout the entire audio range is just amazing. SOUNDSTAGE, yes all caps, my system actually produces a real soundstage now where the speakers and walls vanish leaving just the performers and the original recording venue right in front of me!!! And to think I still have some work to do on the back wall.

Yes it is. And I should add my girlfriend came over for a listen Saturday night and she was amazed at the difference as well. I didn't prompt her in what to listen for at all just played some music and ask for her take on it. Her could easily detect the increased soundstage and she said the overall sound was more organic.

Glad to hear it is working out so well. It gives me encouragement as I am in the process of doing a similiar thing. I sent my final list to Byran today.
