Below is a list of McIntosh integrated's we have in stock and/or on demo!!

A bit off subject but I have an order for a new boat engine since November, not even enough information to establish an ETA...

You guys are killing me with these lead times. It seems like they're growing exponentially. When I ordered some stuff in January I was told about 12 weeks for preamps and SS amps. Still waiting but hoping I'll get "the call" soon. So now 3 months later, we're up to a minimum of 28 weeks. Wow, that's crazy.

I wonder what the lead time threshold is that will cause people to give up and seek alternatives. Of course, maybe there aren't many alternatives. I suppose everybody is suffering from some amount of backlog delay. McIntosh's delay seems to be kind of extreme, though.

I have tried to contact Mcintosh directly twice, and they sent the exact same reply word-for-word. When I sent reply saying this was exact same reply they didn't reply at all. I certainly understand that there are delays for items everywhere across all industries, but it would be helpful if these companies would just say we dont know instead of well next month or the month after that.

Well, in that case I hope this 7 to 18 month backlog doesn't include the amp I ordered 5 months ago. That would be egregious.

If that engine is an outboard (Yamaha, Merc, Zuke) you can expect very, very long delays. It's part of the reason used boat prices have exploded. If I had one single gram of common sense (which I probably don't) I'd put my boat on the market and cash in.

My friend at Mac volunteered that order times are significantly improving. This was yesterday. So expect your orders within 4 months. If Freddie doesn't hear something, I will ask why soon.

Best

Charles

Got the news yesterday that my MT10 shipped out. With a little luck, I should have it by about mid-week next week. Will have been a little past the 6-month mark from when I ordered.
