Default Audio Hungary Qualiton a50i (Tube)

Greetings folks,
Have any of you had first-hand experience with this amp? It's class A, and two friends of mine rave about how good this comonent is.

I'm considering purchase but want an amp that is on the warm side of "neutral." Of course, that's a relative and subjective term. For that reason I've ruled out Audio Research.

Speakers are Sonus Faber Guarneri Homage.

Thanks for any information you can provide.
Best,
P

Paolo4223,

I’m not familiar with this brand but coincidentally came across it on Part Time Audiophile website. PTA named the Qualiton a20i on its Buyer’s Guide. May be worth a read to understand their sound signature.

Good luck in your search!

Thanks very much- I think I've read just about everything I can find online about the Audio Hungary integrateds. . Apparently the 50 watt Class A has just been replaced by a 75 WPC. Probably sounds excellent. I've pretty much decided that I won't buy any major component unless I can audition it at home.
Best wishes,
P
