No, unfortunately I have not. Probably money well spent, huh?

It's free software minus the cost of an omnidirectional mic. There are several good threads on it here if you look around. GIK also has a good how to video on their website.

There is no way in hell I would step back down. The R series is much better, and faster, which is a big deal for timing with two-chennel.

My guess/assumption has been that I am having a tough time matching the front firing wave launch to my front speakers... Am I way off here? |

I was not aware. I have some research to do. Thanks again!

Okay. I need help. I have a good offer pending on my R528 and need to decide which route to go.
Does anyone here have much experience with using the REL T5's? My thinking has been that the R528 wasn't a good fit for a couple of reasons, some of which I have stated above. The other thought was that possibly the Class D amp in the R series was "too fast" to match speakers that are being driven by a ClassA/B amp? Would a Class A/B powered pair of T5's be a bad choice? |

I think you will be disappointed if you retire the R-528 in favor of two T-5s. They just aren't the same animal. You will not get the bass extension and I bet the detail and dynamics will not be as good. It will be like putting a veil over the music. When I upgraded from a T-7 to the R-328 the improvement in that regard was immediate and obvious. My $0.02

Going to hang onto the R528 and do more homework. Thank you to everyone for your helpful input. |

Good for you. I think it's a wise decision to try and get the R-528 sorted. It is a fantastic sub. Subs can be hard to dial in, but the payoff is worth it.
