I know! remarkable, if accurate.

Agree about the 610Ts. Had them paired with my M5s for some time. Very emotive and involving. But just too many tubes. The heat and maintenance eventually just proved too much for me.

Agree with heat/maintenance issues. Btw, heat issue becomes an advantage in winters depending on where you live. Hot summers a different story, my 610t and rest of front end (ref10 ph+ ref 10 pre) forcing me to do more outdoor activities :-) Having said, heat is even more managable than tube issue which SED winged C is out of production and very few current production alternatives left as Tungsol 6550. You can still find winged C but they are very expensive and finding 2x 8 matched pair is also hard task. A friend who also owns 610Ts replaced his winged C with Tungsol 6550 and he is pleased with the results. I am lucky that I have matched pair winged C stock.

I wonder how Ref 610Ts will match with my upcoming Magico M Project speakers, we will see.

Congrats on the M project Magicos. Very excited for you.

When do you expect delivery?

Please keep us posted on how the M/610Ts combo works out for you. Agree with Number95...it should be a magical combination!

Thank you Cmarin. I guess a delivery of no earlier than November. Certainly, I will share both initial photos and preliminary sonic results. Critical listening needs presumably min 300-400 hours due to burning in as well as some experimentation for speaker placement/toe in etc.

Number95,

What line stage and source(s) are you planning to use with your M speakers?

The darTZeel stereo (108) works great on the Q3, and not so great with the Q1.

Devialet has SAM files for the S1,Q1,Q3 and V2.

My dealer says the Devialet 200 is wonderful with the S5s.
