Default what Luxman CD players are still in production?

My dealer told me only the D10 and D03 are being produced... which leaves a bit of a Goldielox syndrome of what's in the middle?? $3K CD player and $17K ..no 05 o 06 models anymore? Is this true?

Also, how long is it taking to get these, are they in stock anywhere?

Correct statement. Some dealers are ordering extra units for stock, especially the D-03. I was lucky to get my D-10 with a 4 week wait.

sounds like McIntosh all over again... its taken me 2 months to get my amp!

But that sucks that there is no middle range player ... the D03 isn't enough for my needs and the 10x is about twice what I can afford.

The D-10x replaced a D-08u and Chord DAVE DAC. It’s that good.

And if I didn't have a Rossini with the clock already, I'd be sold... but I just need the disc transport and the ability to play SACD, and I cannot swing the $30K for a dCS SACD player so I need one that is self contained.
