Default Giant killer?

I'm freaking out a little right now. I bought a nad c375bee to put in my bedroom with my new Nola boxers. I won the Nolas at RMAF, don't have them yet. Bought some wireworld cables from Ivan for this setup also. Don't have that either.

In the meantime I disconnected my audio research pre/power and inserted my new NAD.

I am mad. Mad for NAD.

This amp has been touted as a giant killer, and I agree! It actually sounds better than my ref5/ref75 combo in certain aspects. It doesn't quite get the tone and timbre right in the tube way...but it's incredibly quiet and powerful. It makes my Sasha's sing.

I'm not regretting my purchases, I love the audio research sound, but I have to wonder if it's worth 14.6 times as much?!

If anyone is looking for a sub 2k integrated, you must buy a NAD c375bee. It's not a suggestion. It's an order.

Another takeaway from your experience is that Wilson speakers don't require expensive electronics to sound really good.

NAD has always had an excellent reputation for making great products at reasonable price.

I'm happy to hear that it is still the case and you can have a very nice sounding system without spending all your money on it.

Congratulations on the new NAD Integrated. Your excitement confirms you have mad the right decision for when the NOLA's arrive.

Now that you're happy with the NAD c375bee you no longer need the ARC Ref 75.

I'll pm you with my address and you can box up the Ref 75 and send it to me. I'll give it a very nice home, and please know that you will be welcome to visit it anytime you wish

Haha! Nice. I am going to use the NAD for several days and get used to it, then switch back to the Ref75 and see what's what. Should be interesting, I'll report back.

Be forewarned...NAD is known for being unreliable, look it up.
