Default SACD top 10 starter set

I have a K-03 scheduled to be delivered Monday. Will go through the burn in that I have read about here on AA. In the meantime I want to order some SACDs to be here when I can start listening.

What will be a great top 10 starter set of SACDs? What are the best order sites with best pricing? Hope to get feedback so I can order immediately. Thanks, Jim

Any of the older Elton John SACD's. They sound like they were recorded today.

James - we don't know what music you like....so, it's a little hard to advise you. For me, the Elton John classics are some of the best sounding. Honkey Chateau, Mad Man Across the Water, Goodbye Yellowbrick Road, Captain Fantastic, Tumbleweed Connection, etc. They sound exceptionally good.

James.......Click on the Amazon banner toward the bottom of this or any page on Audio Aficionado, go to Music on Amazon, then type in SACD in the music search line. You'll be looking at a huge selection of SACD's.

By entering Amazon from the banner on AA's pages, Audio Aficionado gets a percent of the sale that helps support this site, so shop Amazon by clicking on the banner below.

Get any of the Sara K SACD's from Chesky. You will not be disappointed.

Really like vocal especially female and male with deep bass and where I can pinpoint instruments with some good low end. Looking for SACD that are distinct with great clarity. I like rock but less when everything runs together. 70's rock, Southern rock, Pink Floyd, YES, Rush, Allman Brothers, Steely Dan, Dire Straits, Boz Scaggs, Steve Winwood, Bob Segar, Joe Walsh, any guitar based, classical with dynamic range, Norah Jones, Diana Krall, Sarah McLachlin, Selah, Fernando Ortega, Marshall Tucker, the list goes on and on.
