There are a number of fantastic SACDs that are sold out, so why in the heck don't companies pay a fee and do another production run and sell them out again? Instead they seem to pump out releases hardly anyone has heard of.

Another production run of the following is a licence to print money $$$$, eg: Deep Purple (Machine Head), Simple Minds (New Golden dream), Roxy Music (Avalon) and a hundred more.

I feel sorry for all the people who want them and can't the fantastic SACD version, its holding SACD back and its not the consumers fault this time around. Its a ridiculous situation when new entrepreneurs can't get a foot in the door, buy the licence and do another production run.

The Japanese may have forgotten how to make easy money, but their trade practices are restricting others from doing likewise.
