* I too, will get that Billie Holiday's SACD. ...BTW; Holiday with one 'l' only, not two, Stephen (from your thread's title).

Smokin' hot and absolutely wonderful. Remastered by George Marino.

If you like jazz, vocals, or Billie, this is a MUST for your collection.

Available at all the usual places.
The LP's not too shabby either

Of course it matches McIntosh! Mine matches the brushed aluminum side panels. Nice contrast!

Bob.......Should you have the opportunity to hear the Esoteric K-03 in any system, McIntosh or otherwise, you will quickly realize the fallacy of your statement.

-- I was only kidding Dan; and only on the 'color' alone.

* And! ...I might just buy the K-03 myself (in Black) ; just to listen to it.
...Anyway, just from reading what the members here at AA have to say about it .... high praise indeed.

- The Silver color is gorgeous.

I think the Esoteric is an absolutely beautiful piece of equipment and looks terrific in Dan's rack with his Mc gear.

My only thought Dan is more of an ergonomic one - would you be able to move the K-03 to the top rack below your TT and move everything else down, or will you cable lengths/layout not allow for that? I think that might look a bit better as well as be more ergonomic/accessible for loading discs.

It's an awesome SACD. Playing it right now! I bought mine from Acoustic Sounds a couple of weeks ago. I have the Verve LP subscription too of which I'm savouring to play on the new GFS cart.

In fact I like all of the current Verve Series on subscription. Duke Ellington & Johnny Hodges is also getting a lot of play here.

Jeff.......When I had the MCD1100 in that rack it was located where the MR88 is now sitting. It was comfortable to use at that height. The MR88 was on the bottom shelf and I did not like the look of the MR88 that low in the rack. When the K-03 arrived I decided to bring the MR88 up one shelf. I don't have an issue with handling discs in and out of the drawer or operating the K-03 on the bottom shelf. I look at it as exercise.

All of my Wireworld Silver Eclipse interconnects and Silver Starlight digital cable are two meter length, so no issues with relocating anything. That's the primary reason I never buy interconnect shorter than one and a half meters, usually two meters. You never know how you may need to install gear, and this way I am always prepared for the inevitable.

I don't want to side track Stephen's SACD thread, so that's all I'll say about my gear.
