That's a really nice stash of F2As. I keep my two spares under 24hr security :-).

Let's see. For me:

365 days * 4 hrs/day ~= 1,500 hrs/year

7,500 hrs, tube life (conservatively)

5 years/set of tubes.

... that many tubes will outlast my hearing :-).

There's no telling what the future holds, but I can't see parting with my Cortese, or replacing it.

In the 2013 Summer Quarterly Newsletter, Shindo Sings, Ken actually cited irrational American f2a hoarding as the reason the reason the Sinhonia had to be discontinued. On the plus side, your Cortese is scheduled to work through 2236.
