Default DWM Bass Panels for my 3.6R's?

Anyone have any experience with these maggie DWM's?

With my new MC462 my maggies have become magical.

Would the DWM add to that magic?

(Big room, proper setup already tweaked.)

I bought 2 DWM's to pair with my 3.7i's. I moved them all around the front of the room. I was not impressed. I was hoping to extend the bass down lower but I could barely tell the difference with/without them. I returned them for a refund.

Find a nice high end subwoofer. I have an Rel 12" home theater sub in my system, and when I play it with music I can't even tell that it is on. I can imagine their audio specific ones are even better. I have run cheaper subs in the past, but I could always tell when the are on since the bass on the cheap is is too "Peaky" and slow to integrate well.

FWIW OP I ran 2 SVS SB1000 subs behing my 1.7's for several years. The low bass response was utterly seamless. Friends and fellow club members couldn't believe I had a pair of subs in the room.

Quality subs are the route I'd pursue.

What OSAR said about the Maggie panels is pretty much what I've heard others say about them as well.

Been demoing some higher end full range spkrs as of late. So far they have been slightly better in some ways and slightly worse in other ways .... So far my maggies are hard to beat especially at the price i picked them up at from the original owner who kept them minty

I'll join everyone else to say don't bother about the DWMs, sub/s is the way to go (1.7i & LRS owner here)

Go with a REL sub or pair of REL subs, have had all versions of Maggies and always paired well with REL subs.
