Music Direct was blowing out Audioquest Volcano speaker cables in November/December at over 50% off. This blowout sale was due to overstock and new models replacing old, so I decided to steal a pair for my Cornwall III's

Damn Brad, you find some good deals. Maybe there should be a thread for bargains or good deals.

Guys, I am trying to find some interconnects. I have Wilson 5.1's powered by a Proceed BPA3 which is connected [XLR] to a Cary SLP03 preamp. My speaker cable is Transparent MusicLink Ultra's which I just got and would like to get the matching interconnects. Anybody know of any good deals on them? If you have other input, I'd love to hear. Thanks in advance.

Home-made from 99.99% OFC (Oxygen Free Copper) - it's true I measured it .

With my previous system, these home made "beauties" were my sonic favorites. As I converge on my new system I might end up experimenting with other cables. Still have a few lying around (e.g. Cardas Quad something).

I use Vintage Audio Labs King Cable speaker wire. I think it was about $200 for each 3m run.

The picture really is not the best representation of the size and thickness of the cable.

BTW, it is a 4x4 cable with four spades on the speaker side and two spades and two banana plugs on the amp side.

I am currently using FMS Nexus speaker cables, because they are a perfect match for my Venture speakers. I have Transparent Reference with MM technology XLR interconnects, but might sell them to go all FMS.

I'm currently using Transparent Ultra's with my 802d's. Very satisfied with the sound, went through a whole of cables comparable in price before choosing it.

Soon enough though, the cables will go along with my whole current setup. I'm really targeting the Shunyata Aeros series. There's been a whole lot of incredible offers on them. Trying to get a pair of matching IC and speaker cables for my next audition.

From that length, I cut some five or six cable pairs of various length, many for jumpers. Below you can see Monster `jumpers´ coming off the 4 and 8 ohm amplifier taps, which run out the back of the rack to the floor where they connect to HEAVY barrier strips.

They are all broken in now. Are you cringing yet? LoL

I surprised that wire hasn't turned green yet!!
