I did not sleep a lot.... it is the same trick as with the CT5 i previoulsy owned, the slow and laborious progress, and somewhere between 300 and 500 hours, it takes place something we understand at once that it is special -ie suspension of disbelief- and that it is for what we waited.... keep the faith, it is sometimes disheartening when we do not use a run-in device as me but the reward is immense
Mr Johnson, Mr Conrad..........THANKS

On my classic SE, I am continuing to note improvements at 800 hours, and it is sounding very, very good now. More importantly, the good day, bad day thing is over. I would say 600 was a landmark jump.

I had a few of the bad-day times as well with my ET-5. It must have upwards of 500 hours on it by now but I really have totally lost track!

It was actually sounding good for some time, I thought it was "done", then it seemed to go to pot! I got upset and let the entire system run for about 100 hours continuous without even listening, and pfhoosh, it became an entirely different animal and is sounding fantastic.

I think we must insist that any new component now have an embedded "Veeder Root"
