Thanks for the kind words guys. Nearly a six month wait has finally ended.

Tony, the dealer is Magnolia, so I'll be picking up. Luckily the weather forecast for Saturday is excellent.

They'll load it into the back of my truck. Getting it out is a different matter...

Fred, super news. I can hardly wait to see the amp. I have never heard an amp like the 3500. I believe that 1502 will not disappoint. You absolutely did the right and brave choice to wait. The good thing about Mac is that they are comparatively large compared to other tube manufacturers. I believe these new tube amps made by Mac to be the best in the world. I have never experienced bass impact and nuance like this before. I think you will agree. One again, absolute congrats! and supply lots of pics.

Thank you for all the kind encouragement that helped me stay the course and wait it out. I almost fell out of my chair when the dealer called yesterday afternoon. It was so very unexpected

I'm sure the amp will sound fabulous. Just a few hours left to wait.

Thanks Doug. Had no idea it would take this long. I've been enjoying my MA8000 since 2015 and the plan now is to shift it to preamp only duty at first.

I do plan on trying it out in bi-amp mode to see what kind of results I get, but notwithstanding, I'm certain the 1502 will deliver a high quality sound experience by itself.
