"It marked the 350,000th time that a fixed-wing aircraft has landed on the flight deck of the carrier. It's the first time an aircraft carrier in active service has reached this milestone.
Aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower has recorded 326,600 arrested landings, the next highest total."

Maybe when they mothball the Nimitz, they will bring it to my town Fredericksburg, TX. We have the Nimitz Museum and National Museum of the Pacific War here. Nimitz was from here. It would look cool. They might need to chop it up a little. We got one of those mini Japanese subs here already.

Spent several hours in the museum's in your town a few years back. Time well spent.
