Apple TV 4K 128 gig
So I bought one of these at Costco out of curiosity about the home automation feature now that my new home has garage door openers with cameras which work with one app while my alarm system and thermostats use other proprietary apps. In the process of being interested in that feature I found out that it’s an excellent streamer with instantaneous load time of shows with no lag , no waiting for anything to load. I can go into Netflix cut opens instantaneous then click a show, boom it’s open . I can click the Home Screen jump into YouTubeTV and again shows come on immediately. I am looking forward to using this in my new media room / home theater processor. The home automation feature is great also . Kind of an amazing product for the price.

Bought one from Apple store, it’s the 128GB, 4K, HDR, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos,
3rd Generation. Is this the same thing?

Yes, just picked up this same model. Instant playback with Netflix and other streaming apps. Cost a bit more than a Firestick/Roku 4K but satisfied with the quality and performance. Also, no more Dolby Vision issues with older Sony 4K TV with built in Netflix apps.
