For room size of W 11' x L 13.5' x H 10', would 803 D4 be too large? I have been considering Wilson Audio Sabrina X but 80x D4 is a contender.

Hi guys, I have the same question, I want to put a pair of 803 D3s in a listening room roughly 15' x 15' but opens up into a kitchen/eating area (open concept). What are your thoughts? Thanks!

I don't think so. I think you would be fine with the 802D3 with a 20+ foot room.

My two cents- there is something special about the 800s.
Even if you don’t need the bass, the whole thing comes together for me at the 800s. If the budget is constrained, a nice d2 could save you money.

I'd love some 800/801s but they would be too big for my listening area.

Brian, how's the bass with those 803's?

Whith some aid by electronic room correction (room modes) there are no sonic problems. Make sure the soundquality of sources, amps and cabling are on par with the soundquality of the speakers. An 800 D3 is on another sonic level than an 803 D3. Martin |

Bass is OK, it could be a little stronger.
