RS-232 Serial Control for MEN220
I thought I'd post this here instead of the McIntosh forum because it's really a question about RS-232 serial control of a component.
I have a MEN220 that I'd like to control with my Universal MX-1200 via the MSC-400 Master System Controller. What I need are the serial codes that'll trigger discrete commands such as Power On and Off. I've attached a screen shot of the data input box where the commands are entered. I've contacted McIntosh support and the only advice they have is for me to install the MEN220 Control software on my PC and see if there's a way to sniff out the codes. It seems that Crestron and AMX have tools to do this but I can't seem to find a Universal Remote tool that does the same thing. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. (hint, hint - Dan?)
